Founded in 1927, CGR Ghinassi is the GB Group company that can proudly boast the longest history of operations on the worldwide spare parts market. It specialises in the supply of interchangeable parts suitable for industrial earthmoving machinery in the Caterpillar® and Komatsu® line. As well as pumps, drivelines and drive shafts, special attention is also focused on cylinder heads, the real jewel in the crown of the production range. With its Ravenna manufacturing plant and the state-of-the-art automated warehouses at the Group’s new headquarters, at Casette di Nonantola (Modena), today CGR Ghinassi is able to guarantee even swifter, more efficient service.
 
The company’s strong point is quality. CGR Ghinassi parts are perfectly interchangeable with the genuine equivalents and provide the highest guarantees of strength and durability. Constant striving for exceptional production standards has allowed it to obtain undisputed results in terms of reliability and precision.

CGR Ghinassi covers the entire production chain, from the foundry through to the finished product. Production operations are carried out mainly at the two plants at Ravenna and Nonantola.

Logistics are managed with leading-edge technology in two different warehouses, a highly-automated store for medium-sized products, and a Traslo automated vertical warehouse with storage capacity of 42,000 crates, allowing the picking of small-sized material in extremely short times.

INVESTING IN QUALITY

The group’s head office in Nonantola di Modena covers an area of 120,000 square metres (25,000 of which covered). The company has a workforce of 200 people and can rely on latest-generation production systems. The highly-automated warehouse and the automatic vertical warehouse (Traslo), equipped with cutting-edge technology and a storage capacity of 42,000 spare parts boxes, ensure extremely quick material sorting. GB’s UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 quality certification confirms the results achieved.
